The Department of Children and Families is your local licensing agency. Forms, licensing and registration information, and more can be found at the Department of Children and Families' Child Care Site

Group Care Facilities 

The Florida Department of Health in Gilchrist County does not permit these facilities but routine inspections are performed. Group care facilities are regulated and licensed by state agencies such as the Florida Department of Children and Families, Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration, and the US Department of Education.
